Belleville Building Materials Company was founded in 1948 by returning WWII veteran Michael Mickey Merola.

It was a time of rebuilding lives, homes, and communities. Mickey wanted to help the new generation create a new American dream by supplying quality materials to the local community at affordable prices.

Danny Merola, Mikey's son, who grew up in the lumber yard, now heads up the company. He is proud to maintain the same traditions as his father: personalized customer service, quality materials, and a knowledgeable staff to serve the local area. Moving ahead in the 21st century, we are meeting modern-day consumer needs while keeping our old school values.
